EQUIPMENT - General-Movement-Transport:

We will reach our target area via a long ski march accross the outskirts of the inland ice. In this flat to hilly terrain we will advance on skis, also using kites, should the winds be favorable. Our entire gear, as well as provisions and fuel for 5 weeks will be manhauled in pulks (sleds).

The ascents in the mountains of Greenland will be conducted in alpine style, which means that everything necessary to reach the summit, including bivouac equipment, will be carried in backpacks in the first advance. Whatever is not needed for the respective summit climb, will be left in a (polarbear-proof) depot in the valley.

We have to carry the entire Equipment for a Greenland crossing plus the full climbing gear for Mt. Blanc type mountains. In order to still keep the weight at an efficient level it is of utmost importance to us to reconsider every single peace of equipment. Our gear list is put together for maximum effiency thus minimizing comfort to the very essentials. Nonetheless or packed expedition pulks will weigh over 100 kg each.

In Greenland we will test the new Snowkite from
